Question - (12 November 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 13 November 2007)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend and I have been going out for just over a year, we're strong in love, but he's a Sikh/indian and, well, im not. This is quite hard for us because he's ment to be getting arranged in the future when he's finished his education. He's 18 this November and im 15, recently he has chosen me over his family which is a very big decision to make. The only problem is i'm worried that when we do go to tell them [when im 16 next year] that he will begin to doubt and leave me on my own in the middle of it. I love him with all my heart and i know he feels the same, we've been through so much and we've even spoken about marriage and children. We really don't want our relationship to end, is there anything i can do? We really can't imagine life without each other, he's my future. So if anyone can think of what we can do and also ways to tell his family it would be much appriciated, I need as much help as possoble so please post in with any advice you have. Thank you xxx
