help !

im worried ive ruined things. im close friends with a guy i work with and i know hes very fond of me and says i have a special place in his heart. we work together all the time and he says he trusts me implicitly. ive supported him through the last 8 months when he had a near breakdown due to his wife cheating on him. im always there for him and he knows that but im worried he thinks im too full on-he loves the fact i take care of him and im sometimes a bit too gushy over him. i absolutely adore him-i cant explain why but i dont want to lose him. he calls me at least 5 times a day and says he loves being with me. he also sai if i changed jobs-which i was planning to do he would be gutted-what is he saying. hes my best friend but i love him too. i dont know how he feels and for my own piece of mind have to know any suggestions pleeeeeese
