 Make sure you tell him how much you love the guy your with. And how he is a good friend but you cant be friends if he tries to interfere like that.

 Haha. I know the feeling. I just turned 13 last May, and i had really liked this guy (who i am now dating. YAY!!) but one of my friends REALLY liked me. I'm sure you did the right thing. You need your space and it's not his place to be interfering with your relationship.
Oh, and no matter what ANYONE says, you ARE NOT too young to be i love. I am too. =D
