writes:i was with this guy for a while and we studied together.he was out of money to travel back to our home country and asked me for help. considering he was a good friend at that point in time i helped him out with 1000$i know im really stupid for having trusted him and he has put me through a lot of trauma bcoz of that money. it has been over a year now.that same guy when i met him again when i met him abroad stole my passport and my backpack. he is madly in love or god knows what but he is acting like a total jerk. he had threatened to ruin my image in front of my friends also.on my parents saying and a personal decision i have cut all connections with him. however i want that money back. what do i do?i trusted him to give it back ..i helped him whn he was in need and this is what i suffer. my parents know he owes me the money. i have lost too much already in the bargain of getting the money back.please help.

 Poor girl! I'm with Marieclair in Ireland. Time to move on. Learn from this experience. You got used by this creepy guy and your feelings of distress are understandable but it's time to move on.
