It was like that in my relationship too. The honeymoon period is over for him, and one day it will be for you. This is just when you settle down and are happy to just be together, and are no longer completely overwhelmed by how strongly you feel for the other person.
He will probably never be like the way he was again -- he was "lovestruck" by you, by that feeling never lasts forever! It doesn't mean he doesn't still think you're cute. (:

reader, anonymous, writes (4 February 2011): I have the same problem but i think mine is because we fight constantly and are slipping away from what we used to be. His might be just that hes been with you a year and the good stuff seems to fade. If it gets real bad tho you need to leave. Talk to him seriously and say if this doesnt change you will considering leaving him. Let him know the things you want are important to you and if he still ignores him than hes a jerk....
