writes:My best friend is in love with me at least he was i dont know about now... but when he told me that he loves me I told him that i like another boy, he got freaked out and he is acting like I owe him he doesn't talk to me and when all of my friends and him walk together he starts being realy mean to me! I wouldn't care about this but im s in lov with him not in love like with a boy friend but in love like with my best friend he was the only one i could trust to! How can i fi everything?

reader, anonymous, writes (26 July 2010): Firstly, give him some slack. You've rather shattered his dreams and a few days of bewilderment and anger are to be expected.
Secondly, go see him and call him on his behaviour. Apologise for dashing his hopes, say you still want him very much in your life, and that he is making that very hard for you at the moment with his public behaviour. You understand and don't mind if he is upset privately for a time, but his rude public behaviour has to stop.
There's a lesson here, about being upfront about your feelings before those feeling build into mountains of dreams. But he probably has to come to that himself, it's probably not best heard from you at this moment.
Maybe it will work out, given enough time, or maybe it won't. If it does work out, then you should know that he will carry a small flame for you forever (it's a guy thing) and you should take care not to add oxygen to that.

 Well, I think you should ignore him, if he really is your best friend he would not treat you that way, I would look into finding a new best friend, sorry, but my best friend did something worse, she starated dating my ex boyfriend who I was still in love with, I went about like nothing was wrong for TWO years, I finally got sick of it and told her I couldn't be friends wth her anymore, now she never talks to me, gives me angry looks, but never talks, and maybe it's for the best!!but I got a new best friend and we have known eachother for like ever, never really got along, I think it was because I hung out with my ex best friend, but I don't know!!oka, so....IGNORE HIM, IF HE WAS YOUR BESTIE HE WOULDN'T TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH!!!!!!!!!HOPE THIS HELPS:)
