reader, anonymous, writes (18 July 2009): I don't think you can do much more than tell him it wasn't his fault. Tell him you don't want him to stop making love to you, and it's just one of those things that happens to you.
Maybe you should see about getting the hernia repaired? It's a relatively simple procedure and certainly something worth considering.

Just explain to your boyfriend that it wasnt him and it was your hernia, and maybe even do some reserch when he is with you to make him understand more about why it hurts you. Maybe you should make the first move next time to show him that its ok, and its not his fault.
