There's this guy who I've been sort of hanging out with lately. He's really cool, and we're into a lot of the same things. He's friends with my ex, who I'm still friends with, so that's how we started hanging out. I'm starting to think he might be boyfriend material. he acts---or rather, has acted recently, as though he likes me....smiling a lot, sending me cute texts etc.

Recently he and I were wandering around with another friend of his, then his friend had to go home and he and I went back to his place to jam (we both play guitar). We hung out, watched funny videos on youtube and just goofed off and had fun.

When I went home he hugged me goodbye, then texted me to make sure I got home ok, and said he had a really good time with me. I was feeling friendly so I said I had a great time with him too, and that we should totally keep jamming. We said goodnight.....

And now I haven't heard from him all week :/ I texted him today just to say hi ( and possibly find out whats up), we started having a conversation but he was at a friend's house (my ex, actually) and just sort of stopped replying.

Did I say/do something wrong? Or am I just worrying too much?

Hi there

You havent done anything wrong, you two sound like you had a good time. You say hes your ex's friend, this can be a difficult situation, they are ex's for a reason and your ex might not like the fact you two are getting on so well, or it could be your friend was just busy.

Why not try and talk to him face to face if hes such a good friend he will explain, otherwise really its time to move on and find new friends.

Dont beat yourself up about it :)
