A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I am really into this bloke I work with but he only ever seems interested at work, I have suggested drinks after work but he has never taken me up on the offer, we have a works night out on saturday and he says he cant wait to see me all dressed up and to spend some time with me. We have kissed a couple of times and he seems interested in me. The thing is if he trys it on should I just confront him and tell him I like him and I would be happy to continue this out with work but I am not a slapper and don't want a work or FWB situation. Or should I just live a little and see what happens, he has said he doesn't do relationships, what should I do? He is used to loose woman as he has just left the Army.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (7 May 2009):

Sounds like yet another selfish bloke who loves to use women up! Don't be one of them. Get out now, before he uses you up and then spits you out. It will only lead to heartache. He has already warned you what he is like, so don't go down that path.

If you still really like him that much, just say that you're a 'relationship' sort of person, and if he's just planning to use you up, then you're not interested. You're not that sort of girl!

Although the first option of getting out now would probably be the best. Look for a man who wants to treat you well. Not an army bloke that just uses you for his own gratification.

Stand up women!! Don't put up with this crap!!
