A female United Kingdom, anonymous writes:

I need help. I have a close friend who I used to spend everyday with and recantly he has become close with another lad who is like his boyfriend. and everyday they are together. He will cancel plans with me and then go out with this lad. Its really upsetting me. Were not spending time together out of school like we used to and im scared we might drift appart and thats not what i want.

I care a lot for this friend and I hope we stay close forever but I feel like this person is pushing me aside. :( What should I do? Im sick of asking my friend to come out and him saying i dont know. He says this in the possibility the lad will ask to come out. He keeps ditching me for this other person, what can I do? thanks

A female reader, Toshiba United Kingdom +, writes (4 May 2008):

Toshiba agony auntWell, when he is telling you that he wants to cancel a plan with you, try to look very upset. If it is on the phone, then ask him why he is doing this. If this doesn't work then if any of your friends know abut it, tell them to go up to him and tell him that you are really upset because of him cancelling your plans and going out with the other guy. Hope this works! Good Luck!
