I met this guy about a week ago and now I want to see him and here from him more often. He made it clear to everyone around that he wanted a girlfriend and I know i want a boyfriend but he does not seem to like me. when I met him he seemed like the ticket but now since that evening I went to visit and didn't give in to temptation he has no time for me and he doesn't even call. what should I do I know he is busy training at work but I feel like I deserve a shot at him. He is all I want in a man.

A female reader, MilanaNYC21 +, writes (16 January 2006):

MilanaNYC21 agony auntYou are in a very sensitive position. There is this great book out, "He's just NOt that into you", and I think this title might be applicable to your situation. In reality when a man is interested in a woman, he will more than go out of his way to be around her. Not to mention the words that he wanted a girlfriend, voluntarily came out of his mouth.

Also, you dont want to come off as pushy. Being too aggressive with a man can be a real turn off. Stop calling, showing interest and see if he contacts you. If he doesn't, then he probably was not worth your time anyway.
