I am always suspicious of long-distance relationships as couples need to spend a lot of time together for that relationship to grow. Why is it long-distance, will that part of it never change? If you are looking for a long term committed relationship, you might be better looking for someone closer to home. If you really want the relationship to continue then you will have to put up with the commitment issue. You cannot draw someone into a committed relationship until they are ready.
