me and my boyfriend have recently split up after 2 yrs,during this time he has constantly lied and manipulated me,having me believe that i said certain things when in fact it was him,i love this man with all my heart and want to work it out,would i be wise to?

There's no point wasting your time on wanting a relationship with a man who is manipulative and lies, no matter how much you love him. Move on and get yourself a guy who isn't manipulative and is honest.
