hi
yes i met a guy online through a dating agentcy,we have been together for 2 years now,its not been easy, as he found it hard at first to stop using sites.
but after him realizing how much this was causing me pain and distorying our relationship, he stopped.
i feel you have to be careful who you meet online, factors like how long they have been using the net too, as it can be hard for some men or women just to stopusing the chat sites.
thankfully we have a very honest relationship now, and ive met the love of my life.

He is now happily married to a girl he met on the net and they are about to have a child and myself I have recently starting dating someone also from the net. We've been together for over 2 years. we live together (not alone) and are currently saving for our own place. I can honestly say it's the best relationship i've ever had and i love him very much. On a serious note though, meeting people on the net can be very dangerous (just like any where else) people can make themselves into who ever they want to at the click of a button - just remember this and be aware.

reader, anonymous, writes (4 November 2006): in a word yes. i met my current boyfriend on faceparty.com and i've never been this happy. be careful cos you do get some weirdos out there, but theres absolutely no reason why it cant work at all. in fact i think its worked out great for us because you really get to know someone just speaking to them, its not about sex and its not about just wanting someone to hold and not really caring who it is. xxx
