Hi everyone, My boyfriend is 35 years old and has recently went for an overseas trip to Japan for skiing. He went abroad on 25th Jan and will be back on 5th Feb about 1am. I want to be there to welcome him back and at the same time want to give him a gift as well. What do you think will be appropriate as a gift to welcome him back? Thanks in advance for the answers! :)

Well...

Have to thank all of you for the interesting ideas...but I would prefer to find something that can be bought in shops relatively easily and not through the internet. See, I've just started working and don't have much money on me now so maybe something simple may be better.

I do agree that personalization is the best gift that I can give him, but there's not much time left before he's coming back. I've thought about flowers to welcome him back, but will it be too simple and not practical? Sorry to be so particular... _

Honeypie agony auntLook up personalization on goggle. You may get some inspiration there. I have made some photo lazer engraved dog tags for my hubby for Valentines. ( The can double as key chains if he doesn't want to wear dog tags). The came out amazing.

Whatever you decide for him, make it personal:)

hmm...it's a good idea but he's more of the IT-savvy kind of person so I think he'll tend to download the photos he took into his computer instead of developing the photos. Thanks for the idea though! :) Wonder if there's anything else I can get for him? :)
