I'm 17 btw... and sometimes i just think that in the future if i know the "type 1" girl likes me and i have a great chance, i should just forget it because of the trouble of thinking what to say and ending up feeling awkward.  I'm 15 and know from my experience that I feel the same way about guys.
The type 2 girl is most likey a friend and you just feel more comfterble but less attracted to.
They type one girl is more attractive and you are have less in common. Talk about anything and see where it goes. Good luck.

Trust me i know (i used to be the same only with guys cause am a gurl) one day i met this boy and he gave me butterflies in my stomach and i didn't know what to say to him then one day i plucked up the courage to talk to him and we have been going out for nearly a year now. I still get butterflies when i think of him!

You know if you like a girl right?.
Usually the butterflies are an indicator that you feel attracted to someone but just because you dont have butterflies doesnt mean you dont still fancy someone.
sometimes you just start out liking someone and then a bit further down the line you get the butterflies.
So if you like someone then just go for it, dont wait for the butterflies just do what your heart tells you.
