A reader, Rebecca Batchelor +, writes (26 January 2005):

Rebecca Batchelor agony auntI am afraid it is best to wait until he has the all clear. Even if you do use condoms, you are still at risk as condoms may not cover all of the infected area.

How did your boy-friend catch genital warts? It is a sexually transmitted disease. He may have had an outbreak before and this is a reoccurrence but other than that, he would have had to have caught it from someone who had the virus.

Perhaps you should talk to him and discover whether he has suffered from it before and if not, where he actually got it from.
