G/f's moods from ADD?

A age 30-35, * writes:

i have a bit of a problem my gf she has ADD and i'm ok with it but the problem is when she takes her medication for it she becomes extremely moody almost everything i do that would be perfectly fine without medication is turned to a fight its gotten to the point were she almost broke up with me because she always thinks about the past and mistakes that i have done to her and believing absolute lies when she is on her medication how can i deal with this?

Don't think she needs that medication. My sister uses adderall for recreational purposes and she becomes extremely moody herself and that's because she doesn't have ADD. I have ADD and am prescribed medication but no moody effect on me. She should get re-evaluated cause she might not have it after all or just the wrong meds.

cupidus agony auntLook up the side effects of her meds. Talk to her family or dr. about what's going on and maybe a change in meds will help. It actually may be a good thing that we are witness to this. You may save her life.
