reader, anonymous, writes (28 April 2009): I do not like foreplay either and I am a woman. It just does not turn me on for some reason. Kissing and getting down to business is what I like. I guess some men would call me boring in bed but I cannot help this feeling. Is that bad or what? It is a bummer because I wish that I could like a variety of stuff and I act like I do since that is what men like. You have to please them too.

I think in my man's case "the don't know how" reason may be the problem - although he has got a child already - so that must have involved some foreplay surely!

Personally, I get just as much pleasure from foreplay as the act itself, I like to make sure she's satisfied before I even think about my own pleasure, but that's me. Not everyone is the same. And I'm very interested in sex AND my woman! At my age it's not so much the quantity as the quality - there's not much of the former, but plenty of the latter, and I'm quite certain she feels just the same way.
