A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

i hate food.

i eat the same food daily. my diet is based around plain pasta and im pretty sure that is unhealthy, i have no sorce of dairy in my diet atall. i curently go to a dietition and have been attending that for about 1 month and made little progress. i have been trying new foods but to be honest i doubt i will ever eat any of them again. i dont enjoy food and only eat the maximum of brecfast lunch and dinner. my portions arent huge and i feel nausious eating more than my usual.

i dont think consulting a dietition is helping me.

and i dont have a psycalogical problem, i just dislike food.

i dont no wat to do about it though. i dont no who will help me or if there is anyone who can help me.

but i have to try something.

im 15 and never had a balanced diet.

ive been told if i keep up the way im going im going to die young.

any advice or help?

i could realy use it

HonningKanin agony auntWell this is a big problem. Food is what keeps you alive and a balance one keeps you healthy.

There was a show not too long ago in the Uk that aired with a girl who had just this sort of problem. She didn't like eating anything other mashed potatoes and crip sandwiches. She learned she was frightened of trying new foods and trust issues really. They pretty much worked with her and she can now eat and enjoys a varied diet. If I can find the show I will link you to it.

I would actually not be talking to a dietician more than a psycologist. You may not have a mental disorder, but this is mainly a mental issue.
