i suggest some sort of activity, then you have something to talk about right there, what your doing. i really like bowling, its active, gets you both moving, and exercise makes people happier :) i suggest getting a bit closer to her if you can, talk to her more, how do you know her? school? start saying hi in the halls when you see her and stuff. its a good idea to let her know your interested beforehand. i find for a first date when your not sure if they like you, having some other people around is'nt a bad thing. diffuses tension. see if she wants to do something with some friends first, then focus on her when your out.

just some ideas

good luck brother!

Why not go the cinema or go bowling and then a pizza afterwards - atleast then if the comversation dries up you can always talk about the film, how good she was at bowling (how you missed that strike!) and even the food you are eating? At the beginning of the date tell her you are glad she came and that she looks nice (she will be wondering if she looks ok or not believe me!) and at the end of the date - if you have enjoyed it tell her and just say 'it would be great if we could do this again sometime, what do you think?'

Chat about school/college/freinds/sports/cinema be happy sound positive about things - don't talk about things you don't like, don't call people - basically be fresh/happy and not miserable.. be a good laugh, a good confidant. Pay for the cinema tickets, its the first date after all - girls will find that romantic.

Maybe hold hands towards the end of the date, as far as kissing goes, don't worry about that till your second date.. good luck and keep us all posted!! x
