recently my boyfriend doesnt seem to want to go out anywhere with me. we live together. we spend time together inside the house, but hardly ever go out. if i ask him to go to the pub then he will make an excuse not to go but will go with his friend. im just starting to feel like he is ashamed of me. do u think i should be worried or am i just over-reacting?

Like any relationship, romantic ones need to scale back once in a while. If he isn't in the mood to go out, plan a night out with your friends and let him be on his own for a bit. He may just be after some time off from being in boyfriend-mode. Try this before jumping to any conclusions about his deeper feelings for you.

You should confront him and ask him why he doesn't want to go out with you anywhere. No one should be made to feel this way. Next time he goes out with his mate and leaves you at home, I'd put my best clothes on,do something special with my hair and just turn up at the pub! Just see what his reaction is then, you're a free person and you can do what you want! Don't let him control you!
