A female United Kingdom age 26-29, *issHelp; writes:

The past couple of weeks has been hard for my family. My sister and I are constantly biting each others heads off at the slightest wee things and I'm just wondering does she really hate me or is it just a stage of life everyone goes through? I am suffering a lot of stress through this and it's making me cry a lot and I really don't want to feel like this x

chazx agony auntHi hun my name is sharlotte and i am 18 my sister lou is 21 and ever since i was born fights started.

she threw my across room when i was 6 months old, i stabbed her when i was 3 years old with a knife and still to this day we fight but not as nasty lol.

I have a daughter so we try to get on for her sake but it never lasts longer than an hour so dont be worried she doesnt hate you she loves you but there is something stopping her from showing you. ( i know the reason me and my sister cant show it )

You're a teenager - and so presumably is your sis. This is a natural phase. Went through the same thing with my younger brother for years. Just calm down and remember - it takes two people to start an argument.
