writes: I have been on again/off again dating a guy for about 1 and 1/2 years. We are exclusive for 1 year, and now we are back and forth. I hate it... I am very indecisive about being with him. Yet, when I am out with friends or whatever, and maybe meet a guy and try dating him, I always go back to my ex. What does this mean? Am I just being too indecisive or should I just give up hope and move on?

Sounds like the comfy old sweater you don't like to wear any more unless there's nothing better around .. are you both using each other rather than facing up to being alone? You went out for quite a time - it didn't work out, so let it go.
