reader, anonymous, writes (25 April 2009): Sounds like he definitely likes you, but he's having trouble dealing with it. (He's the same age as you, yes?) Do you like him? Regardless of whether or not he likes you, you should know the answer to that question. If no, (and be honest, would you only like him if he liked you?) then put some distance between you. If yes, give him a little time and make sure he knows that while you enjoy his company, that the cruel jokes are pointless and stupid, both of you are better than that.
