If he was nervous due to the situation, it's not surprising he needed some stronger stimulus to stay hard.
But, if he is the kind of guy who can ONLY perform with the help of dirty pics or dirty talk, uhm, I don't know.... to me it would be a turn off. It's a bit like having a college degree, but not being able to recite the alphabet.
A guy's got to be good at beginner level too,before operating at intermediate...

When you and him are together give in to his desires it can only help you! What turns him on is unique to him so work with that!
What i will say is when you send out a picture you then lose control of who sees it! so be careful.
But when you are pleasuring him pander to his every want and need, and act like you are enjoying it more than him. Nothing is more attractive to a guy than when they think we are fully committed to giving them the good time! So dirty talk and moaning come in very helpful hear!

He may have been nervous, which happens.
BUT, don't send him pictures. This is a mistake, you don't know what is going to happen in this relationship, and you don't control those pictures once you send them.
If he keeps at you on this issue, find someone who respects you.
