A male United Kingdom age 30-35, *helad writes:

DO NOT SAY ITS IN MY HEAD BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN WITNESS TO THIS AND SO HAS MY FRIEND.

1) Seemingly brush against you on purpose when walking past. She has only done this ONCE but it seemed she did this on purpose as there was plenty of room to avoid hitting me.

2) Blocks you from passing her. Her back was towards me but she turned her head to the side so she could see me and instead of letting me walk past her she moved across to my side. I feel she was trying to block me so I banged into her. She has done this ONCE.

3) Always turning her head to the side when you are near her possibly looking at you out of the corner of her eye.

4) Looking behind when you are stood behind her when you are waiting for the bus. She kept turning around and when I looked behind and then turned towards her she looked away but still had her head slightly to the side possibly looking at me out of the corner of her eye. She was also stroking her hair.

5) Staring at me when I went to speak to a teacher standing near her.

6) Not speaking to her guy friend in about an hour when I was sat close by.

7) You see her around more often when you didn't previously.

8) Also I was next to her on the bus, she kept looking at me out of the corner of her eye and playing with her hair. e.g. stroking her hair. She then tried to let me off the bus first.

HOWEVER if there is a few free seats on the bus and there is 1 next to me she will go and sit next to some random person but I am also sat next to friends.

I really like her and would like to get with her but I just don't know to how to start a conversation with her without looking stupid.

She obviously likes you so man up and go talk to her and if u think u ll look stupid she ll think you look cute. She is shy and she won't make a first step so just go and say hi how are you.

You definitely won't look stupid... don't ever worry about that kinda thing.

Yeah I am pretty sure she likes you and she loves the attention from you too.

Well, if you have her cell phone number, you could start texting her. Or write her a note when she sits beside you in class? Or ask for her msn? You could even go talk to her when she is standing at the bus stop. Just start off casually saying hi and hey hows it going? and stuff.

Hope that helps.

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (9 May 2010):

Go up to her and say "Hi."

This is how you get started.

Ask her how she is, tell her she looks nice, ask her how she's getting on with revision / homework / what ever. Ask her what she's doing this weekend. Ask her if she's seen that new film that's out, if not then ask her if she'll go and see it with you.

You don't need to sit and collect evidence. You just need to man up and talk to her.

Good Luck!! xx
