writes: hi im jade, ive got kind of a weird question tohave and its rather embarrasing but i really want to know why i smell when ive had sex. is this a weird thing? its a distinctive smell and even though i wash aterwards and have a bath etc i can still smell it :S it smells like vinigar lol but its really bothering me, does anyone know why this could be? Have a read and see what you think. I just googled it. I know that sometimes googling these things on a family computer is not an option. So I hope I did ok for you.
I know it's embarrassing but you should go and see your doctor about it. It's hard to go for the first time, but we've all been there and the doctors will have seen everything many times before.

 Ummmm no - havent heard of a vinegary smell. Its not uncommon for women to smell slightly the next morning after sex, thats the smell of the semen and your juices mingling and it is a smell that most people recognise! But if its a really weird or strong smell then you maybe ought to see your doctor. Not to alarm you but sometimes sexually transmitted diseases can cause smells more so after sex but it could also be bv (bacterial vaginosis)which is caused by being too clean and destroying your bodies natural ph balance. If you dont want to see doc yet try some feminine hygiene wipes aimed specifically at restoring your vagina's correct ph balance. We can buy them here in uk for around £1-£2. But if that still doesnt work do try your doctor x
