 Zinc tablets are good at speeding up healing of skin disorders including cold sores. You need to keep the area hydrated with vaseline and if it really explodes into something nasty take anti-inflammatory pain killers as they tend to take the edge off the throbbing! If you have cold sores it means you are a herpes simplex carrier (not as scary as it sounds) and you need to be careful about kissing people and other oral contact when you have a breakout.

A cold sore will start with a very small white spot and will tingle before it developes they do tend to develop quite quickly and can be catching, ZOVIRAX is really good hun you can get it from any chemist its not that cheap though ok hope this helps TAKE CARE LOVE MANDY XXXXXX
