writes:After breaking up from a long term relationship, how long did you leave it before you started to see other people?A couple of years ago I really liked this young lady, but she had a partner at the time. She has recently broken up with him, about 2 weeks ago, and i'm currently single as well. The problem is that one of her close friends was talking about setting her up with one of his mates. I personally thought that 2 weeks is not enough time to get over someone, and i'm not sure whether or not to give her more time and risk this other guy getting in the way, or do I make a move too early and end up being the rebound guy.I know how hard it is to get over someone that you loved, which is why I don't want to rush into anything with her, so do I just wait and see what happens with her and this other guy? instead of blowing my chances altogether. Also she may have the impression that I still fancy someone she works with, which I did a couple of months ago, but it didn't work out. Reply to this Question
