writes: So I've never been in a relationship before. So i really don't know what I am. I'm 15 and I've always had weird feelings.Always felt different. But I have a close friend named Joe. Now since like the new year I've been having weird dreams. Not every night but like every once and a while. Always the same dream revolving around the same thing. And everytime it's me and Joe together, alone. And it's allways an intamate sort of dream.And i don't know what it means. It's always me and joe making out. And once i wake up...i wish i hadn't. Does any one know what this means. And does this mean im gay? I mean i do thing Joe is a very attractive guy...but i never thought of it. I thought of the possibility of me being homo at all. I'm just not comfortable with it. I mean I can't reallly know what I am until I'm with a girl or a guy. I don't know..I'm just confused. Can anyone help me please? Reply to this Question

I can seriously empathize with what you mean, unfortunately I cannot answer it with a definitive, solid answer.Like other people have said, your young and you are going through a phase where sexual attraction and identity will be determined due to hormones and social surroundings, its only natural to go through confusion and i can gurantee you're not alone in your area.Your dreams could be an indication of some form of attraction, even if it isnt sexual (or even comfortably initimate) it could just show you have some sort of appreciation for your friend Joe. There is also a chance that these dreams may just be a reminder of how close you are.You mention you cannot know until you're with a guy/girl, for some people this may be but for others they can confirm who they are without a shred of doubt hanging over the claim. I for one am gay, yet i havent been with a guy but i still know since i yearn for a boyfriend. You'll know when your in love with somebody and a time will come.But your still a young teenager, its best for now to just enjoy yourself, dedicate your childhood years to school, family and your close friends. You'll have much more time in the future for matters such as relationships.

 At your age... it's really difficult to know if you're gay or straight... until/unless your actually fixating on guys pretty much exclusively.
Personally, I don't think dreams mean much of anything. Some say that they are a manifestation of your sub conscience (meaning what you really desire). If you take this approach - then it sounds like you really like your friend a lot (if not love him)... and you'd like to take it another step further. You won't KNOW if you're truly gay, until you've actually experimented with guys (and girls) as a confirmation... and it might take a 'few tries' per say to actually determine one way or another. Stay positive and don't go hating yourself cause you don't WANT to be gay (if you indeed are). Doing so will just make your miserable in the long run.

 Dreams can mean almost anything.
You could be simply wishing that you had a girl who you could have as much fun with as you do your friend.
I wouldnt worry about it, some people are "late bloomers" like me, i started dating at age 19.
You might be gay and then again you might not be, its not really important at this stage of your life, so like i did just play and have fun.
You can find someone special to argue with later.
