A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hiya,

So i am 15 years old and live at my cousins.

So i really like this boy (lets call him K) who is best mates with my cousin. I have liked him for awhile and i cant stop thinking about him.

Yestarday K posted on FB one of them like post where the first 4 people to like gets something (1st - Hug, 2nd - he writes I love you on your Wall, 3rd - get to ask him any question and 4th you choose his status)

So i decided to like it and i was the first person so i was going to get ahug from him. My cousin (lets call him L) was having some friends over last night. His first friend came around then there was a knock at the door so i got L and he opened the door and it was K and another boy. Well i never knew he was coming around neither did my cousin. So they went up stairs and then L came down and asked me if i wanted to go up and i said yes then he said "also you need to get your hug off of K",I went up and got my hug off of him. We sat up there and listened to music and he kept lookng at me and i kept smiling at him.

About 30mins pasted and L invited over K's girlfriend and another girl. They came up and K stopped looking at me so much.

Stuff happened, we messed around and then K was getting annoyed with his girlfriend. Later on he decided to split up with her. Well me and K were down stairs talking and having a laugh and agreeing that his ex girlfriend was just annoying tonight lol.

Well the night ended with everyone leaving included L as he was going to stay over at K's.

I enjoyed last night and enjoyed my hug as it was the first time i had a hug off of him.

There has been times before like the other day at school i was walking though the corridor away to head down to the libary to the computers.I was walking in front and ahead of my class mates (there was no teacher with us even though it was in class time lol) and i was listening to music thinking about him and i then met him in the corridor. He waved at me and i waved back and smiled. I then talked to him and we were both laughing.

He has called me babe before and i really like him.Do you think i have a chance with him know he is single again?

A female reader, MissVee Australia +, writes (21 February 2011):

A single guy is fair game to every huntress in heels who fancies a chance with him.

However, chicky, I will caution you about the overly friendly mannerisms of some guys. Really open guys are great to talk to, great to look at, and, oh God, they all seem to smell so nice. Not to mention that waving at one and getting a friendly wave back (acknowledgement from the object of one's desire!) results in a massive high that beats sugar and shopping. But before you let yourself fall too fast, really stop and watch how he talks to all the girls he knows: does he speak to you more flirtily than to any other girl?

As you're a confident girl who is "in-close" with this guy, I think you stand a chance at stealing his heart. However, before you jump right in, suss out exactly how he feels about you. (You could probably try the same Facebook trick he used or fish for clues from your cousin) And remember, don't overcommit yourself at first, or there is a chance that you might be the next "annoying ex-girlfriend". Take it slow, savour the chase and love every moment.
