Question - (5 June 2010) 3 Answers - (Newest, 5 June 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Dear Aunts,

I've been dating this guy for a few weeks but I'm not sure if he really like me like he says he does or if he is just interested in sex. He takes me out to dinner and movies. He always pays. But every time we get together it always leads to sex. I'm not complaining about that it's just I don't know if that's the only reason he is with me. When I was out of the room he told my little sister that he really liked me but when my friend asked him if him and I were a couple he didn't answer her. I don't know what to do. Do I ask him?

QuirkLady agony auntWell, if he is spending money and time on you he likes you. Personally I think a few weeks is a little fast to determine if you are a couple or not, so I can see why he didn't answer.

I say ask him.

Laura1318 agony auntIf you are going to ask him , you may not get a truthful answer. He may not tell the truth or lie to you .

You can test his love by not having sex with him and see how he will react.

sunnycomet agony auntYes, ask him.

I suggest not to have sex with him until you are in a relationship otherwise he is just using you. The fact that he didn't respond to your friend sounds fishy too. Like he is trying to string you along.

He doesn't sound like boyfriend material...

Good Luck!
