 There are the good, the bad and the ugly in every race. It is very unfortunate that you only met those bad ones from your own race.
There are pro's and cons of dating a white man.Culturally there are differences between Caucasians and Asians.
Your issue is white man or Asian man.
There are stereotypes and generalizations of the white men.
Some Asians think they are superior all round, are marriage material to increase their social status, great in bed, bigger penises,makes them feel special, hot and handsome, good features and big money earners.
There are off course the con's about white men.
White men are not greater than Asian Men, and Asian Men are not greater than White men. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.They are all men .
It is a matter of preference and taste.
I hope you have better luck with those white men .

reader, anonymous, writes (23 March 2010): My girlfriend is of Asian parents, but is British and brought up "white" and Christian and has only ever dated white guys.
You shouldn't stereotype about race, but then again there are obviously cultural differences between "white" and "asian" and this is noticeable if someone was brought up in a different environment by their parents.
I know sometimes, not often, my girlfriend will get some comments and hassle if she is out drinking in clubs or bars (by other Asian men) a few times they have inappropriately touched her. This is due to them being hypocritical Muslims, rather than Asian men though.
Any way, I love my "Asian" girlfriend so much and feel lucky and special to be with her.

Of you really like or even love this person you shouldn't care what other people think. The advantages would be not having to hide it, there would be a weight lifted off your shoulders, you would be able to do more things and enjoy life more without a barrier holding you bad. So if I was you I would just go for it and be happy with your relationship :).
