A female reader, Auntie Stoned  United States +, writes (12 February 2009):

She is already your ex not responsible for your emotional wellbeing. Get a life and move on instead of blaming your ex for not giving you moral support.

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (12 February 2009):

She may care about your mother and I am sure she is very sad about it but she is your ex for a reason.

I take it you two are not friends any more and if not then why would you want her rushing to give you kind words? Why would she want to come and cause you more anguish by being around you?

She is probably thinking she's doing the right thing.

Good Luck!! xx
