reader, anonymous, writes (29 October 2008): I was bullied when I was 10, and from that day on I've been bullied. Now I'm 13. I am kinda short and small. People say that I'm a rat or mouse but the reason I speak so quietly is because I'm afraid that my bullies will try to immitate me in a stupid way and everyone will laugh. It is impossible to "avoid" bullies. I hope the best for you!

 Anyone can bully you from 1 to 100 people if you are being bullyed hun tell some dont be scared.
Or the best way to get rid of bullies is to stand up to them.

it can be one person always calling you a name that they know upsets you, or as you say , a whole group ganging up .
as you have posted your question on here, there's something that someone is doing that is upsetting you ?
have you spoken to your parrents about this ?
i know its what everyone says , but i was bullied in school. a lot as i was quiet, and i always stood there and took it , never did anything back , this ruined my childhood, i hated to go to school , at times i was even scared, i never told any one for ages, i felt embarrased , but my mum found out one day, told my teachers , and it all stopped.

 Bullying is a abuse, verbal, emotional and physical.
It can be exclusion from activities or peopley saying bad things about you, just things that happen on a rebular basis (not a one off thing) that makes you upset and feel bad.
Its not often brought on by something you have done, so if your feel something is not right you should say to some one!
How are you unsure if you are being bullied? would you to talk more about it?

I think you can be bullied by both a group or an individual. If someone is making you feel intimidated - by calling you names or physically attacking you, then it doesn't matter if they're in a group or just the one person, it's still a form of bullying.
