Can I move out of the country without my child's father stopping me?

A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

If i wanted to move out of ireland could i without the child's father stopping me? his name isn't on the birth certificate but he took me to court and he got a parental responsibilty thing. he isn't paying child support or anything like that. he gives me 30 pound in hand every week nothing in writting low

technically if he give u money for the child then it counts as child support, as he contributing towards the welfare of the child, and yes he can stop u because he has parental rsponsibilty

You need some proper legal advice - I suggest going to a solicitor or trying the Citizen's Advice Bureau - do Ireland have an equivalent?
