writes: my best friend in lads is the closet thing i have to a brother . when he promises me things, - he normally keeps them . a while ago he promised me he would never take drugs or turn to them , i said that i wouldnt speak to him if he did . recently he told me he was on skunk and he tried to laugh it off , i blanked him for about an hour until he wandered off somewhere , when he returned - he returned with skunk . i begged , i pleaded , i even cried to get him to stop takin it but nothing worked . next day we fell out again . we argued for a few days , hes now promised me he will never take it again because he lost me over it , but im struggling to rebuild all the respect ive ever had for him , dont get me wrong i want him in my life , i care to much for him , but its hard , can i ever be as close to him again after such a massive blow to our friendship ?helpx

 i think u can get close to him again, i think its just gonna take a bit of time to rebuild the repect you had for him. But in time every thing will be fine again and back to normal :)
