reader, anonymous, writes (8 February 2009): guys and girls can be freinds but u tend to fancy them if u dont have loads of them...i fancy one of my guys friends but i have like 10 of them...(friends (i dont fancy 10 of them)) it can be hard though! i always fancy my friends (guys) just get on with life... although i only really fancy my friends or people that i know...

 YES it is very possible to be friends with a male as is a male to be friends with a female. The ppl that don't get it r usually ppl that feel it's all about sex, which it is not. Tho there is a fine line that u don't cross if u just want to remain friends. Sometimes tho being friends can turn into something more. Becoming friends *close friends* is even better if a relationship developes. I will say if u only want to stay friends u must try very hard not to cross that line because if something goes wrong afterwards it will be hard to continue to stay close as a friend.I have a few male friends some as long as 10yrs. so yes I. Don't let what other ppl say bother u also. I also am like urself and perfer males, some females r always talk about looks, clothing, makeup etc. I too am a bit of tomboy and enjoy male company better. Some males do perfer female friends for the fact that they can feel comfortable sharing things that they might not want to share with other males, such as a woman's advice. Carry on ur friendship and don't worry about what other ppl say.
