PaigeAlexxandra agony auntNo, mate, wait!!!!!

If anything goes upsy daisy by a 19 year old who's angry with the system, I'm worried that you'll find yourSELF in the system; and not in the way you want to be!

There's ALWAYS a way to deal with the 'bureaucrats' and their LLLLLOOOOOOOOOONG list of foolish rules; but you have to go about it in a very subtle and clever way; YOU HAVE TO BE A CONSISTENT WASP IN THEIR FACE; minding your own business and buzzing about; and OOPS! occasionally dive-bombing the 'powers that be'. We septic tanks (ta, aussie mates whom we love) have THE SAME PROBLEMS IN THE US............and then some (as you can imagine). The key to MY SUCCESS in getting what I deserve from the people who seem to be holding my life in their hands is to innocently BOMBARD THEM with letters, phone calls, emails, day after day; I make them KNOW ME, make sure they know that I'm a nice person (again, I want to throttle them all, but I'm going to act like the perfect sweetheart) and I'm going to KINDLY pester and bother and make them sick of me in the sweetest way; same words, over and over until they go mad.

If I'm understanding Centrelink, it's a government run agency that helps low-income citizens with their Health Issues either for free or at a lowered price. Methinks if you were bleeding profusely, you'd have a good chance of catching their attention. The reality is; you ARE bleeding, INSIDE, and they can't see it so they don't consider you 'priority'. Well that's just too bad, since you deserve what you deserve, if that's what Centrelink's purpose and promise is.

Sit down for 15 minutes and write out your complaints with them and your NEED for attention in a list. No emotion; just facts. That'll be the email that you will send to every single person at Centrelink; just go to their web site and email every single email you can find especially if you can email everyone from the Supervisor to the Janitor. Start circulating your name. Remember, you're a nice teenaged man who's over 18, is legally able to represent himself, yet it appears that C-link is ignoring you because "you're only 19". Trust me; a fat 55 year old administrator is more interested in the chocolate bar in her desk drawer, so you must understand that in order to calm yourself and proceed in a regular, consistent, polite and ANNOYING manner....with a smile on your face REGARDLESS. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I know, I'm a squeaky wheel and I do NOT take no for an answer. I refuse to let them see me angry, because then they see me as a nutcase (and I suffer from depression and am on medication though it costs about 3 million drachma over here in the mighty US- not!)

Persevere, Friend. Write down your email; write a detailed letter describing EVERYTHING in a LIST form; don't say ANYTHING NEGATIVE; act as though you just started this process and tell them YOU KNOW THEY'LL HELP YOU since you're crying out for help; and would they rather have you go off the rails and "go postal" like they do in America? I don't think they want that, but they need to know that depriving you of the meds/help you need is THEM creating a ticking time bomb that's only going to do one thing; explode in their faces. In the best way you know how, make them feel bad by telling them you're an Aussie all the way and do NOT want to be the Aussie who suddenly explodes BECAUSE CENTRELINK WOULDN'T DO THEIR JOB; and they are going to be held accountable for your actions if they don't accept your certificate since you got the certificate legitimately; not out of a gumball machine.

If they don't listen after THAT, collect names and numbers and just keep going higher and higher till you reach the person who's INTELLIGENT AND HAS NO CHOCOLATE IN THEIR DESK DRAWERS..........someone who's doing their job and is there to HELP YOU!

Good luck, mate,

From the US,

Alexx

xx
