you are internet savvy enough to find an obscure dear cupid site, how come you are not internet savvy enough to google "swimsuits" or even get onto ebay or simular and have a look at swimsuits. That is the place to go for information on available styles.

They not only have the details as in color prints but also the shop name, address, price tags and other relevant details. So, go there.

we will go to the shop. i was not asking about fitting but the variety and availability.
these are things that we saw only in movies or in channels. so to start with we required advices....
and we are bit ashamed of speaking in the shop, without knowing anything at all.....
that is why we thought of getting some idea before we step into a shop.

we live in delhi and planning to go to goa. I believe visiting shoppers stop could help.
we actually are looking for a different style.. a sort of bit exposing, just for a change. hope goa will be a right place for us.
between can anyone suggest a place where we can get bikinis/swim wears that are bit exposing. -- less cloth.
she told she wish to expose a bit in those. we dont want to be vulgar... hope friends you under stood.

reader, anonymous, writes (21 November 2009): if you wanna go for online shopping, you can try lovebikini.com . thats all i can do to help. its not exactly my field you see. but be careful of the breast(bra cup) size of your wife while buying a bikini. i have seen my mom, aunts and my elder sister complaining after buying a two piece that the upper piece doesnt fit them comfortably. tight ones can hurt. loose ones can cause a wardrobe malfunction.choose wisely. best of luck !

why dont you just go into a store that sells brand name swim suits and ask them, they should be able to advise on best style for your wife's body shape. A store that also fits and sells underwear would be best if they are available.
If you cant do that, why not start with a search online, see what styles are popular, even on a site such as ebay, and go from there.

You have not written where you live and India is pretty vast so no one can give you specific information. If you are going to a beach resort, the resort and nearby shops will have tons of bikinis or swimsuits. Browse online to see what she is comfortable with - a bikini or a swimsuit or swimming shorts. Once you are in a shop the assistant will guide you. She cannot try on bikini bottoms.You will also need to buy sarongs or wraps to cover up once you are done swimming or for walking back from the beach. Just imagine a day out step by step and you should be able to figure out most of it. Can she swim? And, can you?
