A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Me and my bf have been together for over 6 months things are going ok but he is rubbish at keeping in contact when he is away, its always been the same since we first met.

He was away at the weekend at a festival, came back on Monday and text me saying how much of a great time he'd had etc.. and asked how i was. I replied back to him and got no reply, I then called him and he didnt answer.

I knew he was going to germany to work tuesday to thursday so then mon night i sent a text saying 'are you still going to germany' .... guess what no reply and ive not had one since.

Do i wait for him to get in contact with me or should i try and text again? I know he is working but this is really starting to annoy me, when he is back i think im going to have to say something?

You need to dump his arse. After six months, and he's still treating you like you're just there for when he comes around for a cuppa? Find yourself a guy that treats you like the loved one you should be after six months!

Me(30s) and my gf(late 20s) text each other at least 10 times a day, and I only get to see her at weekends.

The guys I've known that did what your fella is doing, always had more than one girl on the go. And the girls that were happy with it, also had another fella on the go.

Some men are like this, i was with someone who had the very same attitude and when i faced him he said he's like that. But this is not normal sweety, even when he's busy he can still reply and explain to u that he's busy and that he'll get back to u when he's free. Disappearing for days without contact is not a normal pattern of behavior. Yes you definitely need to sit with him and talk if it's bothering you.
