So I've been seeing my ex as friends on and off on the weekends. we hang out as friends. Anyway the last time i talked to him was 3 days ago. he told me that theres a new restaurant and said lets check it out this weekend. I told him sure i don't see why not. So the weekend rolls around and he never called me. Whats up with that? I was the one that always contacted him and i stopped doing that. So did i get ditched or what???

AuntyEm agony auntIt's clear you still have feelings for this man. He is using you as a convienience, and drops you when he gets a better offer (a**hole in my opinion).

I always say it's almost impossible to remain friends with an ex if one 'still loves' and the other doesn't...it just leads to frustration, heartbreak, pain and resentment.

Cut all contact, don't respond if he calls you. He doesn't want you for a partner and his actions clearly show it.

Heal yourself, get over him, don't let him use you...and move on to better things. It might take some time but believe me...it will liberate you and you will be stronger.
