There's plenty of other things you could try to vary it.

That makes absolutely so sense what so ever! That's like rewarding a dog for biting you because you don't want to be an affection free dog owner.
If you don't get then don't give. If he doesn't like not getting it then he'll have to make more effort.
Also, you should never EVER be scared of saying anything. If you are not mature enough to be able to communicate then you are not mature enough to be having sex.
