 The anonymous poster is right. I'm a bit shy myself and find talking about something like that a little awkward. I'd recommend going a little further. Go slowly and see how she reacts. And by all means DON'T make a dash for the promised land! :)
Women are pretty good at knowing what they are comfortable with. She's probably nervous too and has a mix of emotions going on. Be sure to let her know that you don't want to rush her and she should stop you if she feels uncomfortable in any way.
