Are there treatments to help me thicken my hair?

Hello, this is rather embarrassing...

I'm a young female, and as far as I can remember, I've had a little quantity of hair. My hair is shiny and healthy, it isn't brittle or frizzy, it's shiny a bit thin though, but it still looks nice.

However, as I have such little hair, and always have (it's not that I've been losing hair, I've never had much), I'd like to know if there's a way to grow more hair! I can't try different hairstyles, as I either have too little hair that it doesn't work, or it shows. Even when I do a ponytail people notice and tell me "OMG! YOU HAVE SUCH LITTLE HAIR!!!".

What can I do? I can't grow my hair long, I'm stuck with using it at the very most, at shoulder lenght otherwise it shows how little hair I have. I'm really self conscious about it. Please tell me if there are treatments or if I'm stuck with it and should accept it.

There's loads of shampoos out there that you could try that make your hair look like it has more volume, maybe try one of those? But to be honest, I'd love much thinner hair! My hair is really thick and it just takes ages to dry and straighten and sort out on a bad hair day. Lol. Good luck! :]

Laura1318 agony auntYou may try those hair treatments but it could be expensive and the results may not be favourable .

littlesuziepie agony auntHi. I know there are some options. First off I don't know what color your hair is but blonde is best when your hair is thin. Also if you can get away with it try double processed blonde. Its very blonde but when your hair is processed the hair folicel tripples in size.

A short hair cut. Shorter in the back longer towards the front is nice with layers. That's a good one.

And if its just that you really need more hair you can get extensions or there is this this type of hair piece that goes over your hair and your real hair pulls through it. They are comfortable and breathable. Good luck.
