A male age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I would like to write a love letter to my gf. We have been together for 6 months and to it cool. I want to take our relationship to the next level. Any tips for writing a love letter? Should I mention the possibility of sex and that I would like with her in the letter? What can I say in a love letter? Any romantic tips?

No - don't mention sex. If you get stuck for words - there are some lovely cards out there with lovely messages on the front. Also - you can just do a romantic poem search and find one that you feel sums up how you feel and write that in the card.

Have fun!

Most women would love to receive a love letter from their boyfriend - so good on you!

When you say you want to take the relationship to the next level, I wonder if you are not in a sexual relationship but would like to be? Perhaps that's one of the reasons you are writing the letter and are wondering about mentioning sex?

Regardless, I would suggest you don't mention sex - or if you feel you must - don't use the word "sex" and don't be explicit (unless this is already the words you use when you communicate).

A love letter is probably more about how you feel in your heart... I think the easiest way to express yourself is to think about writing things like:

how you feel when you see her after an absence

what things you most enjoy doing with her

things that make you laugh about her

things you appreciate (her appearance, character etc)

you get the idea!

Often, the easiest way to write something is to put it in bullet points and then later, just string the bullet points together.

I wish you the very best of luck!

My dearest (name here),

When I am with you everything else disappears. Now that I have you in my life could never imagine my life without you. You are my everything, without you I am incomplete. When I close my eyes at night and dream I only dream of you. when I awake you are my first thought. I never knew I could feel so much for one person. When you are not with me I long for your touch, your smell, and the sound of your voice. I need you. I love you

Love always,

(Your name)

That is just an idea hope it helps. Write the letter on pretty stationary give her a candle light dinner and the letter followed by a sensual massage. Do not ask for in a letter that is just tacky.
