 I don't really know what your girlfriend is like, but I can tell you a few things that I always love to get for presents.- Jewelry- Flowers- Stuffed Animals (it works)If you have any female friends (the most helpful ones would be the ones who know your gf pretty well), ask them for help picking out a present. Your best bet is jewelry. Trust me, I was helping a guy friend a few months ago pick out a nice but affordable peice of jewelry, and he was just picking up things he thought she would like and I was just sitting there telling him which ones she would definately love. Eventually, it came down to a bracelet and when he gave it to her, she absolutely LOVED it.True story.Stuffed animals like teddy bears always help. My bf still surprises me with gifts like teddy bears. Try giving her something like her favorite animal. For me it's dogs. My boyfriend absolutely loves Red Sox, but he also knows I love dogs. So he just combined them together, and what came out was a little dog wearing a Red Sox hoodie. It was something for me to remember him by, but also something I could relate to.Hope this helps!Good luck!

I received a rose, not just any rose, but it was called the "talking rose" from a long distance relationship I once had. Real flowers or roses are great don't get me wrong, but these last forever and I will always cherish this one. Inside of the glass tube is the top part of the rose with the words "I Love You" inside of it by the rose. You can purchase as many as you want to go inside of it. I think you can pull it up on the Internet with just those words and it will come up. Everytime I look at it, I can't help but think...know what I mean? Other thoughts...a heart necklace. We women love roses and jewelry...and I'm 41 and still love these type of gifts. If she is REALLY special to you, these "type" of gifts she will love you forever and cherish with all her heart.  After 6 months you should kinda know her quite well, have you slept together? Underwear is always a good one (tasteful though). Ask a female friend what kind of stuff a girl likes and they can give you a basic idea,just for the record I like -1. Love songs on to a CD that he has thought about ones only we could know2. underwear tasteful mind!!3. A simple card with something written inside just for her maybe it's the time to tell her you love her 4. If love is not on the cards, her favourite film or CD5. Meal out, every girl loves her steak 6 Flowers7. Chocolaes 8. Something funny that relates to something personal to you HINT!!! I bought my boyfriend some superman pants just because his tatoo looks like the superman badge, I found it knicker wetting. Good luck let us know what you bought.

Also flowers are o.k. but they are pretty cheap and die after a few days. If I were you, I'd give her a card with some $$$ in it and write a special message saying "get yourself whatever you like". That I would prefer. maybe I'm shallow??
