writes:i like a guy at school hes in 8th grade imin 7th and we talk sorta and have conversations.so heres my problem i like him a lot but i dont know if im turning him off. before we were at the park and we were talking and he seemed really intrested i gave him my number he call we talked for a while and then he never calld back.when i called him he never answers.my friend knows him well and says he has a big ego.so basically am i turning him off or is it his ego.what should i do.i really like him but i can tell he likes me to bu he doesnt have away of showing affections apparently.  His ego would have nothing to do with whether he stops talking to you. A lot of guys act like they have bigger egos than they really do, especially at that age, so your friend's assessment could be off. Without knowing what was specifically said, it would be tough to say why he's stopped talking to you.
I'd say your best bet is to try to talk to him in person. Don't even mention the missed contact, just start talkingas if nothing had happened. Failing that, wait a few days and call him again. If he doesn't get back to you after that, move on, he's not going to be making a move for whatever reason.
