reader, anonymous, writes (23 December 2006): are you thinking about this person every minute of the day? does your heart feel as though it skips a beat and its hard to breathe for a split second when you set your eyes on that person, when you touch lips to kiss does the whole world seem to stop? do you feel that no-one else exists when your around them? then the answer to your question is yes, you are in love! some people mix love with infactuation or lust but you can only love somebody when you truely know them inside and out and vice versa and you cant imagine life without them. sometimes fear of getting hurt makes a person put a guard up to stop giving everything into a relationship and some people only find out that they're in love when its over. give it all b/c when your in love its the most amazing thing, they say chocolate is a substitute for love but chocolate doesnt come close to the real feeling of being in love.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 July 2006): i know exactly what u r going through and i would suggest that u talk it through with someone u trust (a close female friend) they can advise u as i dont know u. However i think that u need to think whether u want to be his friend or something more and if u do go for it cause if he says no then u can still be friends but if he says yes then u will still be happy. And if he is ur friends i am sure he wont tell anyone about it if he says no.

Im not sure if you are in love, but i do htikn that you have feeling for this guy. I feel exactly the same about a boy i no at the moment.If you and this guy get along well, it may be that he likes you but doesnt want to make the first move as he's afraid he'd ruin the friendship.Just let him know how you feel- if he feels the same then great! If not, then you've always got a good friend there for you and you can move on and find some one you like even more..
